Kudos to attendees, speakers, and sponsors for a well-done — and well attended — RTA brunch event …
Thank you again to the more than 300 RTA members and partners who attended the RTA brunch event earlier this month, including our excellent presenters and panelists. We have added a series of links to the event webpage, and we were grateful for all members, elected officials, sponsors, and guests of the event. You can also visit last week’s blog post for copies of slides, renderings, etc. We will be providing additional updates going forward on next steps for metropolitan BRT, including the imminent construction of New Bern BRT in Raleigh.
.. And we urge you to mark your calendar — and register — for the RTA annual meeting
Even though our next major event is more than five months away, we are reaching out to all RTA members today to encourage you to consider registering now (or soon) for the RTA annual meeting – The State of Mobility 2026, which will be held on on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Here is why.
For our RTA brunch event earlier this month, we reached venue capacity a week before the event date, and activated a waitlist, which we could not completely clear, so we were unable to celebrate with several members and partners due to space constraints. While the venue is a little larger for our upcoming January event, space is not unlimited, so I encourage you to register early.
Please get with our colleague Alea Morales to claim your included tickets. You can contact Jacob Rigg for additional information, including a confirmation of the number of tickets at your current membership level and/or sponsorship or membership upgrade questions.
Let’s get moving,
Joe
