The Regional Transportation Alliance is how businesses gain insight and impact on transportation issues that affect their company. RTA drives regional consensus to create needed, faster action.
Some RTA accomplishments include successful lobbying for the advancement of the 540 turnpike and extension, I-40 widening, regional BRT rapid transit, RDU infrastructure, and the I-885 connector.
RTA has only two core values: service to the region, and urgency of our action. Those values translate into four consistent benefit areas for RTA members: influence, insights, recognition, and executive relationships.
I recommend joining either RTA Bronze ($2.5k/yr.) or Silver ($5k/yr.). Both provide recognition at events and our annual retreat. RTA Silver also includes an automatic seat on the RTA Regional Leadership Team – quarterly meetings to grow relationships, understanding, and impact.
