Member Briefing: November 24

RTA approves a new “faster” action plan.

As we noted earlier this month, the RTA Regional Leadership Team recently met to approve the 2024 RTA Action Plan. While the plan retains our top five focus areas from last year, there is one difference: we have underlined faster in our “RTA delivers business leadership to get our region moving faster” mission statement. The reality is that we need to get moving faster on our region’s transportation projects. Read more in this week’s blog.

Happy Thanksgiving from RTA

The Regional Transportation Alliance, the voice of the regional business community on transportation, extends our best wishes to each of our members, partners, and colleagues for a safe and happy Thanksgiving. If you are flying, we encourage you to review some travel tips from our friends at RDU about arrival times, etc.

In particular, we thank each of our current and new members for joining and renewing with us. We appreciate your ongoing commitment to the future of this region — whether you have been with us for two weeks, two years, or two decades.

We are grateful for each of you. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Let’s get moving,

Joe
