And then there were 8, and 16, and all 3 — top 5 RDU welcomes Lufthansa
Earlier this month, RDU announced that Lufthansa would be our newest carrier, and RDU-Frankfurt would be our next international and transatlantic flight.
Since February 2023, RDU has announced more than 20 new destinations; when the Frankfurt flight launches this coming June, we will have eight international flights and 16 airlines.
Frankfurt will be the longest flight from RDU, with a distance of over 4000 miles. The service will run 5 days a week beginning on June 6, 2024. Read more about the flight — and our growing connections to all 3 worldwide airline alliances — in this week’s blog.
Take An Under 3 Hour Train to a Panthers Home Game
NCDOT is adjusting the schedule of Piedmont rail service for four upcoming games this season to improve the convenience for fans. One of those trains will take under 3 hours — just like some of the other daily trains between Raleigh and Charlotte as of July of this year. You can visit the normal train schedule on their website and our quick summary of the normal Triangle area train schedule serving Durham, Cary, and Raleigh.
Let’s get moving,
