While our region’s first BRT corridor along Raleigh’s New Bern Avenue is getting ready for construction this fall, the City of Raleigh is continuing its progress for the second corridor of the Wake BRT program.
The Southern BRT corridor will connect downtown Raleigh with south Raleigh and Garner. The proposed BRT corridor will generally follow Wilmington Street in Raleigh.
The City will be hosting two open houses next month about the corridor. The gatherings will be held from 5 pm – 7 pm on Monday, November 3rd and Monday, November 17th. See below for locations and additional details. Kudos to the City of Raleigh for advancing multiple BRT corridors serving the city and environs. Let’s get BRT moving.
