Here is a brief weekly update from the RTA business coalition — the voice of the regional business community on transportation.
International flights have returned to RDU
After a several months’ long hiatus due to the pandemic, our airport is once again truly Raleigh/Durham International. Earlier this month, JetBlue launched flights to Cancun, Mexico — the first international flight to depart RDU since March. This is an important and long-awaited development, and hopefully there will be more on the near-term horizon, including planned transatlantic restarts of the American flight to London and the Delta flight to Paris in 2021.
RTA gives thanks for each of our members, and for 18 years of partnership
RTA volunteers and staff would like to thank each of our RTA member firms for your ongoing commitment to your companies, this organization, and our region. Your dedication and support have made a difference this year and every year in the future of our market. In addition, the RTA would like to thank each of our partners: the elected, appointed, and career transportation professionals for their ongoing focus on serving this region. The regional business community values the ongoing partnership with all these men and women, and we look forward to many more years of success together.
Let’s get moving,
Joe
