RTA members and partners,

In this week’s weekly member briefing, we focus on our approved business plan and a new e-bike voucher program in our capital city. In addition, please be on the lookout for more information later this month from RTA about advancing electrification in transportation.

Our region looks to get BRT, FAST, and SMART

Earlier this week, RTA and NCDOT held our first regional BRT/FAST/SMART team meeting at the global headquarters of RTA Leadership Team member SAS in Cary. For more information, including a deck of all of the presentations, read this week’s blog.

Durham Streets Bond Passes With 75% Support

RTA helped support the City of Durham, Durham Chamber, and other local partners by endorsing their street and sidewalk bond, which passed with overwhelming support. The $115 million for sidewalks and streets were part of the  “connecting Durham” package that will repair and build new transportation, bike, pedestrian, and other civic infrastructure.
