RTA online transit acceleration meeting— 10 days away
RTA will hold a one hour, online-only, “RTA transit acceleration” meeting on Monday, June 17 at 11 am.
The focus of this RTA general membership meeting will be brief updates from several transit partners in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill-Carrboro related to accelerating BRT and making transit rapid. There will be plenty of time for Q&A from our members, and multiple representatives from your company can attend.
Registration is now open for all RTA members; there is no cost to participate.
RTA Richmond, Va. QuickTour — registration closing this coming week
We now have nearly 60 RTA members and partners registered for the RTA QuickTour in Richmond, Va. on June 18th, and a growing list of outstanding presenters.

You won’t want to miss this one day tour; some of us will be getting there the night before for informal conversations and preparations. Please let me know if you have questions.
RDU is the fastest-growing airport in the nation
Based on the USDOT data, our hometown international airport was the fastest-growing large airport in the United States last year. This is one more reminder of the need for sustainable funding for vital infrastructure at RDU. Read more in this week’s blog.
