RTA Member Briefing: May 10

RTA QuickTour

Registrations are coming in nicely for the RTA one-day QuickTour in Richmond, Virginia on Tuesday, June 18. We will explore the existing freeway cap over their downtown expressway, learn about a proposed cap over I-95, visit the Pulse BRT and adjacent land uses, and hear about their current zero fare transit policy. The event will also include brief remarks from some of our local leaders and those in central Virginia.

View last week’s blog and/or the tour webpage for the agenda, pricing, and bonus options. Sponsorship opportunities are available at $999 and include several seats on the tour — you can purchase your registration or sponsorship directly here. Kudos to Williams Mullen for being the host sponsor and Kimley-Horn for being a tour sponsor.

You can secure your spot on the RTA QuickTour by registering at this link: www.letsgetmoving.org/RTAQuickTour.

Register for next week’s groundbreaking of final phase of 540 beltway

RTA Complete 540 Field Visit

Later this month, please plan to join the regional business community for a walk along the 540 freeway in southern Wake County before it opens later this summer. The RTA 540 Field Visit event will be held on Thursday, May 23rd from 9:30am to 11:15am. Please register in advance using this link.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Let’s get moving,
