RTA Launching Supply Chain Caucus

RTA members,

We are activating an RTA regional supply chain caucus to give us more visibility on our members’ logistical transportation needs as a complement to our overall engagement on mobility, transit and commuting objectives.

Supply chain issues can range from staffing, pricing, technology integration, congestion, delays, reliability, quality of service and infrastructure, and so on. The caucus will create a forum to share and vet issues and identify potential action items and solution pathways for the RTA Regional Leadership Team and area partners to consider.

If your firm either has any issues or insights associated with getting goods, products, materials, supplies, etc. to/from your places of business/market – whether due to congestion, highway delays, or other concerns or opportunities, etc. – consider joining the caucus.

There is no cost to join the caucus — it is included with your RTA membership. You can have between 1 and 3 representatives for any caucus meeting or event unless otherwise noted. The RTA supply chain caucus is an initiative in partnership with the Capital Area and Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro metropolitan planning organizations  (CAMPO and DCHC MPO).

Please contact Jacob Rigg if you or a member of your team would like to join the caucus, or if you have any questions.

Let’s get moving.
