RTA releases two transportation funding reports
On Tuesday, April 21, I had an opportunity to speak at an NC Chamber event on infrastructure in North Carolina, “Building NC”.
During the event, I spoke of two reports compiled by RTA Leadership Team member RTI International. One report highlights the inflation index we currently use in North Carolina for our motor fuels tax, and potential alternatives to that; a second report details some of the options for transportation funding including potential alternatives to the gas tax.
You can download the two memos here and here.
