RTA spring and summer gatherings — please mark your calendar

Friday, April 19 — RTA Airline CEO Forum, Featuring Pedro Heilbron, CEO Copa Airlines, presented by the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority
Join the RTA regional business coalition, and our partners at the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority, as we welcome Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines, RDU’s newest international airline and the current leader in on-time performance in the Americas. Pedro will speak of his business and professional journey, the growth and transformation of the airline, and the attractiveness of the Raleigh/Durham market. He will joined by Michael Landguth, CEO of RDU Airport Authority, Ellis Hankins, the chair of the Authority, and several members of RTA leadership.

Thursday, May 23 — RTA 540 field visit, in concert with NC Turnpike Authority and NCDOT
As the 540 Southern Wake Freeway nears completion, RTA will have the opportunity to take a field visit of the roadway and interact with leaders from our partners at NCDOT and the Turnpike Authority. We will plan to gather at 9:30 am and spend a portion of our morning together in learning and celebration.
Registration is now open, so I encourage you to register now because there are practical limits to the number of attendees we can effectively accommodate during our corridor field visit.
Tuesday, August 6 — RTA Transportation Brunch 2024: Accelerating Multimodal Freeways in the Metropolitan Triangle, in concert with the I-40 Regional Partnership
Join more than 300 regional leaders for the annual summer meeting of the metropolitan Triangle’s regional business leadership group on transportation. For the 2024 meeting, members of the regional business community will join regional and statewide leaders in transportation and government as we explore projects and initiatives to accelerate multimodal freeways in the Triangle that will help get us moving faster, together. Registration is now open, and all RTA members have one or more tickets included with their membership.
