RTA Member Briefing: January 5

5 years of RTA weekly Thursday Thoughts blogs

This week marks 5 years of our RTA weekly “Thursday Thoughts at Three” blogs, all of which are available at letsgetmoving.org/Th3.

To mark the occasion, we have released a somewhat longer blog post that explores the interplay between productivity, flexibility, employee satisfaction, and congestion relief. It incorporates recent articles in the Nashville (TN) Business Journal and Inc., and research and observations from Slack and Harvard Business School — along with a reprise of a mid-pandemic RTA blog post from 2020.

The gist of this week’s blog and links is to be intentional about when, where, and what we work on, in order to benefit associates, productivity, and everyone’s commute. As always, we welcome your feedback.

Let’s go faster, together — RTA 22nd annual meeting is later this month

This year’s RTA annual meeting luncheon is on Friday, January 26th at the Embassy Suites Raleigh/Durham/Research Triangle in Cary, and our theme is “Let’s go faster, together”.

Every RTA member company has one or more tickets to our RTA 22nd annual meeting included in their membership. You can join more than 400 leaders from across the growing Triangle for insights on projects and initiatives that are essential to business and commerce. Annual meeting attendees will also have interactive discussion and engagement opportunities both prior to and during the event.

RTA members can click here to confirm the number of seats included at each membership level, and register here for the event. If you have any questions about your membership, and/or if you would like to elevate your membership level and receive recognition at the event as a major investor, please contact Jacob Rigg at 919.664.7062 or jacob@letsgetmoving.org.
