GoTriangle to launch service improvements next week
Starting next week, on Monday, March 15th, regional transit provider GoTriangle will implement several changes to service hours, frequency, and the alignment of some routes, as well as the addition of one new route.
Of particular importance is the launch of 15 minute service to core GoTriangle route 100, which connects Raleigh with the regional transit center in southeastern Durham, near Research Triangle Park. Learn more in this week’s blog.
Greater Raleigh Chamber to host Foundations of Economic Success series event “The Commute to Opportunity” on Transportation Challenges and Solutions
The Foundations of Economic Success series, hosted by the Greater Raleigh Chamber, consists of several events that are focused on barriers to economic mobility and success. Later this month, on Thursday, March 26th, from 9:30 am – 11 am, the series will center on transportation challenges and solutions, and their importance on connecting residents to jobs, education, and opportunity.
Raleigh assistant transportation director and head of transit Het Patel will present on the current state of transit in the capital city and the steps being taken to enhance transit in our region. We will also discuss observations on the transportation and practical, collaborative solutions. You can register for the free event here.
