Dear [your colleague’s first name],
I would like to connect you with a group we have been active in for several years.
The Regional Transportation Alliance is how businesses gain insight and impact on transportation issues that affect their company. RTA drives the regional consensus needed to create faster results on key priorities.
RTA doesn’t build the freeways, but RTA makes sure that the freeways get built. Same for improvements at the airport, rapid transit, and overall traffic relief.
Some RTA accomplishments include successful lobbying for the advancement of the 540 turnpike and extension, I-40 widening, regional BRT rapid transit, RDU infrastructure, and the I-885 connector.
RTA members want to see results, and we provide focus to move the needle. RTA is where the action is, and you need to be at the table.
I recommend joining either RTA Bronze ($2.5k/yr.) or Silver ($5k/yr.). Both provide recognition at events and our annual retreat. RTA Silver also includes an automatic seat on the RTA Regional Leadership Team – quarterly meetings to grow relationships, understanding, and impact. The details of all levels and benefits are here, along with our current membership roster.
I would be pleased to speak with you about our success with RTA. I can also connect you with RTA’s executive director Joe Milazzo or RTA membership operations coordinator Jacob Rigg.
I hope you will join – this region’s growth is not stopping, and we need your help.
“Let’s get moving”,
