Here is a brief weekly update on some items of interest and current activities of the RTA business coalition–feel free to share with your associates.

Offer comments on draft Wake Transit work plan
Proposed Wake Transit improvements for 2017-18 will be presented at public meetings across the county beginning this Monday, March 20. You can offer comments at one of the meetings or provide feedback online. Scroll to the bottom of this webpage for meeting dates and locations. See a few of the work plan highlights in this RTA blog.

You asked for it: one-page summary of upcoming improvements
One of our major investors recently asked us for a summary of a few major roadway projects–where they are, when construction begins, and when they will open to traffic.¬†This was an excellent suggestion, so we have created a one-pager for our entire membership to use. You can download the most current version at anytime using the following link: letsgetmoving.org/RTARoadwaysOverview.

1-year anniversary of RTA weekly member briefings
RTA leadership and staff are committed to providing helpful and timely information to all of our members. One year ago this week we launched these “weekly member briefings”, which are designed to be easy to read in your office or on your phone. We have received great feedback on these, and we will continue to provide them to you each week. If you missed an issue or want to reminisce, you can view all prior briefings on our website at letsgetmoving.org/wmb.

It was a pleasure seeing many of you at yesterday’s RTA General Membership Meeting, and I thank all of our members for your support!

Let’s get moving,

Joe
