Please take 90 seconds to help NCDOT advance public transit
NCDOT has initiated a statewide public transit survey. The deadline is Monday, but it will only take you a minute or two to complete. Even if you only answer the first question that will be helpful, as they are looking for private sector participation in this survey that will inform policy recommendation for a statewide strategic plan, particularly related to how technology will shape North Carolina’s transit future.
Consider riding the new GoTriangle on-demand shuttles in RTP
GoTriangle launched new on-demand shuttles that serve the Park last week–service is free for the first 6 months. At least one trip end must be at an existing GoTriangle bus stop within RTP, or at the regional transit center. For more information, visit: gotriangle.org/ondemand.
Help GoTriangle guide the appearance of Durham-Orange light rail
Last summer GoTriangle received approval to enter the Engineering phase of the Durham-Orange light rail, a future 18 mile long high capacity transit link between Chapel Hill and Durham including direct service to UNC, Duke, and NC Central. Next week you have an opportunity to guide the appearance of the light rail project. The workshops are on Tuesday and Thursday evening – click here for more information or to RSVP.
