Summit Series excitement continues – sign-up and share
Last week I participated in an upcoming WRAL TechWire podcast about transportation in the Triangle, and the importance of having a broad, regional conversation about opportunities to make things better, faster, through our upcoming RTA Summit Series — here is a short teaser video. RTA Bronze member Capitol Broadcasting/WRAL will also be live-streaming our first session to broaden engagement. Register to attend one of the free sessions if you have not already done so, and please help share via Twitter and LinkedIn.
Light rail design drop-in meetings
GoTriangle has created an opportunity to weigh in on elements of visual design for the future light-rail system in Durham and Orange counties. The regional transit agency will host two public meetings next week to provide an update on the line-wide appearance and architectural design of the proposed light-rail. Drop in any time between 6 and 8 p.m. at one of these interactive open houses on April 24 and 26. The content of both will be the same.
Help guide Wake Transit bus, BRT planning
Over the next several weeks, there will be many opportunities to engage in the next phase of the Wake Transit planning process, including bus service improvements and Bus Rapid Transit corridor options — 30 chances, in fact, as a part of various formal meetings, pop-ups, and community events across the county. Click here for details about the upcoming public meetings.
Thank you for your membership in the regional business community’s voice on transportation!
Let’s get moving,
