Get the business perspective on transportation initiatives and trends impacting the Triangle market at the annual RTA State of Mobility event, where you’ll hear from regional business executives including incoming RTA 2020 Chair Maeve Gardner with GlaxoSmithKline.

You’ll join more than 400 regional leaders in celebration of our mobility achievements and gain insight on the opportunities ahead for regional transit, air travel, and advanced technology.

We will celebrate the advancement of Complete 540 and recognize NCDOT and Southern Environmental Law Center for their efforts to accelerate the project while preserving and protecting the environment.

Mike Schoenfeld with Duke University, RTA air service chair, and fellow members of the RTA RDU “AID” task force will discuss preliminary findings and recommendations on securing sustainable, long-term funding for RDU Airport — our highest priority for 2020.

Keynote presentations from Dr. Stuart Ginn with WakeMed Health and Hospitals and medical director of WakeMed Innovations, and Dr. Marc Hoit, NC State University Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and CIO, will highlight the implications and opportunities associated with disruptive technology on mobility.
